Staff of the 30th Judicial Alliance provides training throughout WNC to any agency or organization that would like to learn more about types of abuse as it relates to vulnerable residents of our mountain communities.

    The following training sessions, workshops, and seminars are held on a regular basis:
  • Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault
  • Elder Abuse awareness for issues and needs of the elderly in our community.
  • Systems change for assisting victims with disabilities and Accessibility and Safety Audits for interested agencies.
  • Cultural Competency. Latino culture and violence in Latino families. The unique barriers to safety and immigration relief.
  • Human Trafficking and how to detect it.
  • Law Enforcement training for elder abuse victim identification is available through an initiative with the Waynesville Police Department.

Our programs are available to continue to raise awareness about abuse, neglect, exploitation, and learn how to direct victims to available resources.
